Debbie Millar

L.I.S.T.D.

Debbie is a Licentiate Member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D.) and has been teaching for over 40 years., having trained at Bush Davies and Laine Theatre Arts.

As a child, Debbie attended the Kay Goddard School of Dance and after qualifying established her own school in and around Bungay and Beccles in Suffolk. She moved to Ardleigh in 1986 and started her second dance school in 1990.

As well as being a Registered School with the ISTD, Debbie is also a qualified “Exercise to Music” teacher (RAD) and ZUMBA instructor. In addition to the dance school, Debbie also teaches in several private nurseries and, as part of the National Curriculum, in various local primary schools.

Debbie directs and produces her own annual show and has previously been involved with Summer and Winter Shows at the West Cliff Theatre in Clacton. Her dance troupe has visited and performed at Disneyland Paris on several occasions and is looking forward to doing so again in the near future.


Rebecca Lambert

L.I.S.T.D.

Rebecca trained at The Ivy Baker School of Dancing from the age of 7 to a young adult, where she gained her Associates while doing day release at Laine Theatre Arts.

Rebecca progressed to become a partner of The Dance Centre, Dovercourt, after starting as a student teacher whilst performing in Winter and Summer Seasons. She joined DMSD in 2012 and in addition to teaching Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz, Rebecca enjoys choreographing routines for our trips to Disneyland Paris, Musical Theatre Workshops and our annual shows.


Helen Green

F.I.S.T.D.

Helen trained at the Bush Davies School and the Faulkner Hembry School of Dance before undertaking a three year course at the Bird College where she obtained her vocational examinations.

After several years of touring in Europe, Helen returned to teach both at the Bird College and at the Laura Falkner School of Dance.

Helen became an ISTD examiner in 1998, a member of the ISTD Tap Committee in 2003 and an International Examiner in 2005.


Arabella Sutcliffe

Arabella trained at Italia Conti Academy Of Theatre Arts from the age of 13, completing her schooling and moving onto the college, graduating with a Diploma in Musical Theatre and Dance. Whilst in training, Arabella started teaching at one of the Italia Conti Associate schools.

Arabella’s professional credits include: Dancer for Rita Ora Half Time Show, Soccer Aid For Unicef (ITV). Dancer on Britain’s Got Talent (ITV). Ballerina for Gresham’s Christmas Show. Rosie in Cabaret The Musical (Avondale Theatre Clapham). Dancer for Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway (ITV). Dancer in Made2Move, Melody Squire (Tour).
